As a clinical psychologist, neuroscientist and martial artist, Tamara brings a unique, multiple perspective to her mindfulness mentoring and therapy.
Her particular interest is in the embodiment of mindfulness, and this lies at the heart of her coaching and therapy practice. She is the creator of “Body In Mind Training” and “The Dragon Way to Mental Wealth,” two next generation therapeutic approaches that blend neuroscience, psychology, mindful movement and creativity.
Tamara is known for her open and compassionate style, balanced with academic rigour and a deep understanding of the brain. Her belief is that basic neuroscience education is an essential life skill – an “instruction manual” for the brain. This can be valuable when we are thriving (and want to maximize performance) as well as when we are struggling.
Although Tamara has training in a variety of therapy modalities and can work with a range of presenting issues, she has expertise in the following areas:
Matching her own energetic style, Tamara is a popular choice for those with more creative expansive minds, helping them to hone their strengths and develop compassion and strategies for navigating the more challenging moments of life.
Tamara offers 121 sessions, group workshops and longer deep dive training on zoom and in person.
Tamara is the author of “Mindfulness in Motion” (Watkins, 2015) and “#whatismindfulness” (Watkins, 2017) and numerous academic articles exploring emotional intelligence, mindfulness, and mental health.
Tamara is a contributor to the Future of Heath, Leading In the Digital Age and Leadership programmes at Imperial College Business School Executive Education and teaches on the MRC Psychiatry Rotation at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, King’s College London.

I am an Integrative Psychotherapist, working from combined Theoretical perspectives, which include Psychodynamic, Existential and Person-centred approaches. I have experience working with a broad range of difficulties. I believe in a safe, secure relationship built on trust and understanding between a client and therapist. Therapy is open-ended (meaning the length of the work will vary with the individual). It is therefore a collaborative experience between client and therapist, ensuring we have an equal amount of creative input and expression within the therapeutic relationship. I work within a framework, that allows a client to express themselves freely, engage and grow by processing experiences and difficulties that they find challenging in life.
Difficulties I work with include:
Qualifications
Dr Joanne Collins trained in a number of disciplines which include family and systemic psychotherapy, psychosexual and integrative child psychotherapy. This allows her to work with children to adults with a range of presenting issues. Her background includes teaching and training in the field of Social Care and Emotional Mental Health within both educational and workplace settings. Clinically she worked within the 3rd sector, the state and the NHS for 15 years before going into private practice. In her private practice where she works therapeutically with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families with various emotional difficulties. My focus in my work is humanistic which means an emphasis on thinking about relationship and dignity as part of the human experience.
With over two decades of experience in the field of psychotherapy, I have had the privilege of supporting clients, students, and fellow therapists in a variety of roles, including Psychotherapist, RTS Supervisor, Lecturer, and Facilitator. This extensive journey has allowed me to accompany individuals at different stages of their personal and professional development.
Therapeutic Approach
My work is rooted in the belief that each person is unique, and as such, my approach is tailored to suit the individual needs of every client. Therapy is a collaborative process, where together we develop an understanding of your specific challenges and aspirations. This may involve addressing unresolved issues from the past that continue to impact your present, as well as creating a vision for the future that empowers you to reach your full potential. Throughout this journey, I encourage clients to draw upon the valuable lessons and gifts that life offers, helping them to move forward with confidence and self-awareness.
As I often say, “Therapy is about understanding that which trips us up but also that which helps us fly.”
Transpersonal and Integrative Practice
My approach is both Transpersonal and Integrative, which means I work with the mind, heart, and soul. In practical terms, this involves addressing all aspects of the human psyche, with particular emphasis on the importance of the heart. By truly listening to our hearts, we gain a deeper understanding of our needs and become better equipped to make clear, healthy decisions in our lives.
Qualifications and Ongoing Development
Following the completion of my Masters and Supervision Diploma, I undertook a two-year course focused on spiritual paths and world religions. This experience provided me with valuable insight into a diverse range of cultures and faiths from around the globe, enriching my understanding and enhancing my therapeutic work.
I am committed to continual professional development and regularly attend CPD trainings covering various aspects of psychology, culture, and spiritual traditions. This ongoing learning ensures that I remain informed and responsive to the evolving needs of those I support.
Current Role
At present, I lecture and run the Foundation Course at the Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education (CCPE), where I share my knowledge and experience with students embarking on their own journeys in the field.
Many of us in modern culture become overly focussed on the trappings of success at the cost of our happiness and health. In this process we often forget our dreams and our essential nature. Tamsin Olivier wants to help people reconnect to this true nature and to let go of layers of conditioning which no longer serve them.
Tamsin’s first career was as a professional actress. She trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama and her work included leading roles at the Old Vic and Chichester Festival Theatre. After realising that she was more interested in the intricate psychologies of understanding character and enabling effective teamwork than actual performance, she shifted careers to create The Engineer, which soon became an award-winning gastro pub in London. Her fervour for providing good organic food, nurturing a creative artistic and community-orientated atmosphere was ignited.
Tamsin fulfilled a further dream becoming a mother in 1997 after which she felt called to change direction once more. Having discovered the life changing benefits of the therapeutic journey herself, following personal life challenges. She completed 3 diploma courses: Transpersonal Counselling and Psychotherapy, Supervision, & Working with Dreams at the Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education. She has been working for the last 20 years with individuals and groups within the charity sector, the NHS and in her private practice. She is a member of staff at CCPE facilitating and devising & facilitating training in Body awareness for therapists, and Healing with breath & Sound, Tamsin has run groups focussing on Dreams, Awakening the balanced Feminine, Inspired leadership, & Care for the carers. She works holistically with individuals and groups integrating a range of creative skills including revisiting dreams, drawing, visualisation, role-play, somatic movement, voice work and meditation in therapy and supervision. For the last 4 years she has been working with Robert Rees and The Grove, creating a therapist’s training for Healing with embodied practice. Her emphasis is on healing and transformation whether through life crises/ transitions, stress reduction, emotional and physical release or finding purpose and authenticity. Tamsin discovered the benefits of Yoga & Qi Gong early on (completing a Hatha Yoga Teacher training with Marianne Wells in 2015.) Her passion is combining body, mind, and soul work, for men and women of all ages, to connect to their current highest potential.

I work with organisational leaders to provide real time executive development in times of transition and change. This might take the form of leadership development in readiness for a new role, a plan for landing well in a new organisation, working through an intentional or imposed career change, or realignment around a new strategy, or organisational change programme. To seasoned leaders, I am a thinking partner who provides an objective perspective as my clients navigate critical decisions, dilemmas, high risk/high stakes situations, and crisis.
I also partner with senior executive teams and boards to work with them on their effectiveness. I create the space for my clients to identify what conditions are needed for them to be at their best in service of the organisations they lead, and how to develop the processes and practices that will support them in that endeavour. This includes being able to surface and discuss issues that have the potential to cause interference so that they can be worked through in a timely, constructive and creative way. As part of this work, I am often engaged as an advisor to Chairs, CEO’s and Founders to support them in their leadership of top teams or chairing of boards.
How I Work
I believe that context is everything and so making sense of the changing environment in which my clients are working, identifying what it takes to thrive in the new context, and recalibrating accordingly, are cornerstones of my practice. I ask catalytic questions that prompt awareness, help clients get clear about their purpose, and identify their choices. Developing impactful communication skills, interpersonal range, and the resilience to recover and learn from setbacks are key themes in my practice. When clients are navigating a career change, our work together enables them to identify what it is they want from life and work now, make sense of their career choices to date, and develop a compelling narrative that supports them in the pursuit of their next role. This might include interview preparation and rehearsal, and post
appointment I will often continue to work with clients to support them to land well in a new role or organisation. For some clients the work is about readying them for a new life stage that is a departure from their career to date – this might be starting their own business, developing a portfolio career, or pivoting to something completely different and figuring out the transition plan to take them from the “here and now” to their future state.
Who I Work With
All my work is generated through client recommendation and through long term relationships. I am often engaged periodically when clients and/or their organisations are navigating change or in search of executive development that supports sustainable performance and effectiveness. Sectors and clients include:
• Media – The Guardian, British Medical Journal (BMJ), NLA Media Access
• Marketing Communications – Omnicom, WPP, IPG, Trends & Culture
• Professional Services – Portland Communications, Stone Haven, 5654
• Health – National Institute of Health & Care Excellence (NICE), Great Ormond
Street Hospital (GOSH)
• Charities and NFP – UNICEF UK, Smart Energy GB, Good Law Project
I have also worked with founder owned businesses such as Digital Public, Eulogy, 5654, and Frieze to provide Executive Coaching and Advisory services as they grew and scaled their businesses.
What You Can Expect
Pre engagement we will have a chemistry meeting so that I can learn more about you and what you hope to achieve by working with a coach. We will explore how we might work together and if appropriate discuss alternative sources of support. I will share how I work with clients, and the mechanics such as duration and frequency of sessions, confidentiality, and the costs involved. If the coaching is corporately funded, we will also discuss Sponsor input to inform the coaching agenda, typically this would be provided by your senior colleague and/or a HR/Talent executive. During sessions my aim is to create the space and conditions for you to hear
yourself think, feel and make sense of your situation, and consider your options. Where appropriate I will provide leadership development input or point you to frameworks or theories that support your development agenda. You can expect to leave the session feeling purposeful, resourceful, energised and ready to take mindful action. Our work takes place in a relaxed, private setting in the Barbican, an arts centre
which some have described as an oasis in the heart of the city. Alternatively, we can meet at your offices, off-site, or on Zoom.
Coaching Credentials
I am an accredited Professional Executive Coach having completed the AoEC Advanced Executive Coaching Programme with merits. I completed my early coaching, facilitation and careers coaching training with Jenny Rogers (Coaching and Management Futures) and my Consulting & Change training with Ashridge Business School. Many of us, in our pursuit of achievement and progress, can lose sight of what truly matters—our sense of purpose, balance, and authentic self. Mike Anderson is passionate about helping people rediscover their inner compass, cultivate resilience, and unlock their full potential in both life and leadership.
Mike’s journey began in the fast-paced world of media and technology, where he held senior roles at organisations such as News UK, Associated Newspapers, and Metro. As a founder, he built Chelsea Apps Factory into one of the UK’s most innovative digital agencies, steering it from start-up to national recognition. Through these experiences, Mike witnessed first-hand the pressures and opportunities that come with leadership, innovation, and change.
A pivotal moment came when Mike realised that true success is not just about external achievements, but about aligning with one’s values, nurturing wellbeing, and leading with clarity and compassion. This insight inspired him to transition from executive roles to coaching and mentoring, where he could support others on their own journeys of transformation.
Mike is a qualified executive coach and business mentor, drawing on decades of practical experience, psychological insight, and a deep commitment to personal growth. He has worked with leaders, entrepreneurs, and teams across sectors—helping them navigate transitions, build confidence, and create cultures of trust and creativity. His approach is holistic and collaborative, integrating strategic thinking with mindfulness, somatic awareness, and creative problem-solving.
In addition to one-to-one coaching, Mike facilitates group workshops and leadership retreats, blending practical business tools with reflective practices and experiential learning. He is particularly interested in supporting those at crossroads—whether stepping into new roles, launching ventures, or seeking deeper meaning and impact in their work.
Mike’s work is grounded in the belief that everyone has the capacity for renewal and growth, no matter their starting point. He brings warmth, curiosity, and a wealth of real-world knowledge to every session, guiding clients to reconnect with their strengths, overcome limiting patterns, and step into their most authentic and empowered selves.
Biog – Executive Business Coach Practitioner
I am an accredited Executive Business Coach Practitioner with the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC), having trained with Meyler Campbell, one of the UK’s most respected coaching programmes. My practice is built on the belief that effective coaching empowers leaders to find their own answers through reflection, inquiry, and purposeful dialogue.
Over the years, I have coached directors, senior leaders, and partners across a diverse range of sectors. My clients span finance, technology, retail, corporate communications, data science, digital training, cyber security, and charities, as well as leaders in Formula One, and other fast-paced and complex environments. This breadth of experience has given me a deep appreciation of the unique challenges and opportunities faced by today’s leaders—whether navigating rapid technological change, driving organisational growth, or responding to uncertainty with clarity and resilience.
Alongside my coaching work, I bring the perspective of a non-executive director, strategic advisor, and former CEO. These roles have placed me at the centre of many of the same decisions and dilemmas my clients face. As a result, I am able to understand their pressures first-hand while maintaining the discipline of a non-directive coaching approach.
My style is centred on curiosity, active listening, and asking the right questions at the right time. I am goal and results orientated, agreeing clear objectives with clients at the outset of our work together to ensure progress is both measurable and meaningful.

Jim’s coaching style integrates formal training with extensive professional experience gained at Coca-Cola, Barclays, Sky Television, and Interpublic Group. Through these roles, he developed the ability to navigate high-pressure environments, collaborate effectively with diverse – and sometimes difficult! – leadership styles. Above all though, Jim’s passion is about listening to his clients, with genuine care, gaining an understanding of their perspectives, and guiding them towards different insights and actions.
